The EUMP and IDEAL center prepares students for challenging careers where they can apply a broad spectrum of knowledge in electronics and computing to solve real-world problems that help improve our lifestyles, create wealth, and discover new technologies. Our graduates can be found in private industry, government service, and research laboratories throughout the United States and in many other countries.

Our state-of-the-art research trains graduate students to face the theoretical and technical challenges of tomorrow. Our department is large enough to give students the experiences that will be found in many other research universities, yet small enough to have close interaction with faculty and peers.
